Dexter von Derberry is a beautiful 4-5 year old German Shepherd who’s still doing high-fives about being rescued from the shelter and riding to Hill Street in Westside’s Freedom Van. Our exuberance-plus boy is happy and confident in our dog-filled play yard, enjoying all but the really dominant types. Comfortable with his surroundings, mid-to-high energy Dexter nearly purrs (did we say purrs?) when you rub his head and slumps down next to you for some serious cuddle time. He can hardly contain his excitement when he exits his kennel to go for a walk, and will benefit from the free, group obedience session that comes with his adoption. Possibly house-trained, Dexter loves water activities! He exerts every effort to rid our kiddie pool of its H2O and delights in attacking water spurting from a hose, so we suggest you lock your bathroom door whenever soaking in the tub.
